I started with a clean-up at the leaves...
I have used layer mask, as I`m showing. But you can use eraser tool(I don`t like).

I have used a tablet Wacom Intuos 3 to make the clean-up

Here is the clean-up result

Now : IMAGE>CANVAS SIZE. I increased the size at the botton of the garden source...

I dragged the leaves to the garden image
