Creating fantastic chrome effect on images

| In this tutorial we are going to take a photo, and then manipulate it to give it a chrome effect, producing a rather cool result. Start
by opening any image of your choice. |

| Press
Ctrl+Shift+U to desaturate the image. |
|
| Duplicate
the image and change the layer mode to "Multiply". |
|
| Duplicate
the layer and change the layer mode to "Vivid Light". |
|
| Open
channel's palette and create a duplicate of blue channel. |
|
| Press
Ctrl+L to open level settings. Apply settings as shown. |

|
| Ctrl+Click
the channel thumbnail to get the selection. Move back to layer palette.
Temporarily hide the duplicate layer and select the original layer. Press
Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in a new layer. Move this layer above
all the layers in layer order in layer palette. |

| Change
the layer mode to "Color Burn". Unhide the two duplicate layers. |
