Creating a night club logo with silhouette effect

Start by creating an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.
Enable subtract form shape area form the top bar.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Insert an image of a dancing girl.
Create selection of the girl using polygonal lasso tool.

Press Ctrl+Shift+I to inverse the selection. Press delete.

Scale down and place as shown.
Enable lock transparent pixels from layer palette. Fill with a solid black color.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.
Similarly create more silhouette of dancing people and place as shown.

Type the club name and place above all layers overlapping the bottom portion of the logo.
Copy the layer style of the ellipse layer and paste on the "nightclub" layer.

 
Create some random color lines for laser beam effect.
